The Check for updates option will search for the latest version and download it if you have Internet connection.
You should not use this option if you are currently using BOS because the current event will be closed and the PC restarted at the end of the installation.
Note that the BOS package is comprehensive. The program will tell when it is completely downloaded and the installation can commence, c.f. Installation.
