A licence for one tablet is installed automatically when you install the BOS package.

The recommendation is that you apply for a free of charge test licence for up to 15 tables before you commit to anything.

The alternatives test and buy have a submenu in which you can select if you want the licence for the PC that you are currently using, another PC, or a dongle.

You should, if at all possible, use your scoring computer when you buy licences. This is so because the procedure when buying for another computer is cumbersome.

NOTE that the licence will be permanently locked to the PC’s hardware and that there is no way to reverse a purchase or get a refund when the computer has crashed beyond repair. You can deactivate your licence(s) and request a refund of the remaining worth if you want to (re)move active licences from a PC, but that is a slow manual process that attracts a service charge of $50.

You should put your licences on a BridgeTab dongle if you want to be independent of a particular computer.
