Start n/a

NO START BUTTON
The WiFi icon in the header shows the network status. You need to study the network status info on the Start screen if the icon would not turn green and/or the Start button would not show up within a minute. See a separate page for explanation of the WiFi icon.

WiFi n/a (red icon)
The tablet has not connected to any network at all. Please go to Android’s Settings Menu and select the network that is used by the scoring computer. “Forget” (disable) all other networks.

Computer name n/a (orange icon)
This message indicates that BT Admin could not be found on the selected network (“Jannersten” in the example). First check that the same network (“Jannersten” in the example) is used by both the tablet and the PC. Then check that BT Admin is running (in minimized mode).

START PROBLEMS
The error messages that can occur when the Start button has been pressed are explained on a separate page.

HARDCODED IP
Hardcoded IP means that the TD has forced the BridgeTab to use a certain IP number. The Start button will not show if there is no network connection at all.

The Start button will appear as soon as there is a network found when the IP has been hardcoded; but that is no guarantee that Start is possible. The errors that can follow are explained on a separate page.
