BOS (Bridge Organizing Software) is nothing but a basket holding the various software in the BOS Pack.
FINDING
You find a search function at the bottom of every help page. You can search everywhere in the Help (Global search) or restrict your choice to the part that you are interested in. That is to say; the BridgeScorer Control (BSC) program, the BridgeTab Admin (BT admin) program, the BridgeTab (BT) application (that the tabletop scoring use), DupSoft (that handles the deals), or the BOS which is your starting point and “Switchboard”.
You can submit a Report Problem via the Help menu if you do not find the answer to your questions in the Help, you can. Note that you should use the Report Problem in the program that you have problems with when the problematic event is active (open).
PC OFF LINE
You will only see the help pages that you got with the BOS package setup if the PC is off line. Another drawback with off line mode is that Web Publish and the external links won't work. That is to say, connect the PC to the Internet, if at all possible.
The search function (at the bottom of the Help pages) does not work when the PC is off line, but you can search via the List pages function (reached via the Index in the left hand side margin), or study the Manual that you find on the Desktop, if you work off line.
