You can teach an individual card if you have problems to have just that card recognized.
1. Click "No" in the standard Teach dialog.
2. Select Indices type and Deck name on the right hand side of the dialog.
3. Ctrl-T to display the extra keyboard with card symbols in the lower right corner of the image.
In the example you need to select Club J on the keyboard.
This will change the reference to "J" from "2" as shown below.
4. Click on the rank and suit symbol in turn.
5. Save entry when you have highlighted both rank and suit.
