REGULAR/IRREGULAR MOVEMENT By regular movement we mean that the boards and the moving pairs move in the same way all the time. A stationary pair at table #1 will typically perceive it as their table is visited by the moving pairs in ascending order, while the board sets are played in descending order. If this is not the case we call the movement irregular.
Our advice is that you should select a regular movement in the scoring program if at all possible.
HANDLING IRREGULAR MOVEMENTS Irregular movements cannot be communicated via the database that the scoring program creates, why the scoring program must leave irregular movement parameters blank in the database.
Total number of boards You will be prompted to tell how many boards you want to play when the BridgeScorer Control program finds that there are no movement data in the database, see illustration to the right. The only restriction is that the total number of boards must be devisable with the total number of boards. That is NOT to say, that you must use/play the same number of boards in all sets. The players can use the skip board button (the crossed over board icon) to bypass any non existent boards.
The grid The grid won't contain any data at start (only question marks) when you run without movement, c.f. the illustration below.
