STOP CARD Stop card can be used to avoid that you mix up decks when all backs are identical. This option implies that you put an extra card between deals (preferably upside down). Can only be changed in the Default Settings dialog.
DECK SORTED (chronological) You can use this option if you must duplicate non barcoded cards with a Duplimate. This option can only be changed in the Default Settings dialog.
Note that the output will not be cross checked by the machine unless the cards are barcoded.
The order of the cards must be: Spade Ace, King, Queen...2, Heart Ace, King...2, Diamond Ace, King...2, Club Ace, King...2. That is to say, the first card that the machine shall pick up must be the deuce of clubs and the last card (on top of the deck) the Ace of Spades.
DEAL & DUPLICATE This is the recommended setting for random dealing because it offers seamless process for dealing - duplication - analysis. Note that this is the only option that enables you to duplicate. The other alternatives will create a deal file that you can later on duplicate with Deal & duplicate.
IMPORT We suggest that you study the Import instruction before you use this option.
HAND DEALING You can use this option in case the players insist on hand shuffled deals. You should be aware of the fact that Hand dealing gives flatter hands than Randomizing.
Note that you can duplicate hand dealt boards by switching to Deal & duplicate once you have hand dealt the first set.
READING Reading is useful when you want to register hand dealt deals. The deals can be duplicated, analysed, printed, etc., once they have been registered (read).
RESTRICTED DEALING Gives you deals meeting certain criteria. Useful for teaching. cf. the instruction
