Print (ctrl+P) creates a .pdf file that is opened (and printed) by your preferred pdf reader,
You can Put copy on desktop if the hand record would not be displayed automatically. Then double-click on the Desktop copy.
MAKABLE NOT READY It can happen that you get a message saying that makable contracts are not yet calculated when you start printing. This means that you are recommended to command Alt+M and wait for the deals to be analyzed before printing.
UNSEAL You will be asked if the seal shall be broken when you command print of a set of sealed deals. It is not possible to revert to sealed mode once unsealed.
HEADERS One or several headlines can be enabled in the Default layout dialog. The normal usage is to enter some (parts) of the headlines there. How to do this is explained on the Edit layout page.
Note that you need to type "&&" if you want "&" to appear on the handrecords.
PRINT RANGE You can change the print range if only a fraction of the deals are to be printed, otherwise just click START.
NEW & DELETE You can add new layouts with the New button, but you should first check if you cannot reach your goal by editing an existing layout.
We advice you to only remove layouts that you are certain that you will not have any use for.
PUT COPY ON DESKTOP The .pdf file is always put in the BOS' Event folder and you can get a copy of it via DupSoft's Export function at any time. You can alternatively tick "Put copy on desktop" if you want to have a .pdf file on the Desktop right away.
CURTAIN CARDS You will have curtain cards in addition to the hand records if you tick this box.
HANDRECORDS ARE NOT DISPLAYED The handrecords will not be displayed when "Suppress cards from screen" is ticked in Settings. That is to say, the handrecords file is generated but not shown.
Another reason why handrecords do not show as expected can be that your default pdf browser does not work. An easy way to overcome the problem is to change the default pdf reader via the "Open with" function (right-click a pdf file) and select another program as your standard.
